Andy has over 25 years’ experience as a consulting Structural and Civil engineer with the majority of these having been spent with Goodson Associates after joining as a Graduate in 1997.

He approaches all his projects with the aim of delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions and considers that working collaboratively with the whole project team is a key driver in successfully achieving this goal.

Over the years Andy has worked in various sectors for Goodson Associates including Retail, Commercial, Healthcare and Residential. Andy currently leads Goodson Associates Education Team and has successfully delivered over £750M of primary, secondary and further education projects with various Local Authorities, Colleges, Universities and HUBCOs over the past 15 years.

Andy is a Director of the company but is still very much project focussed and ‘hands-on’. He has a real interest in sustainability within the industry and is at the forefront of both PassivHAUS and Net Zero Carbon design within our education buildings.
When not in the office you can usually find Andy on a golf course somewhere!
