Goodson Associates were appointed to provide Civil and Structural Engineering services for the delivery of two Early Learning and Childcare Centres for Angus Council. Nurseries were constructed in tandem and were completed at the end of 2021.

At Carnoustie the main access to the building is provided through the pedestrian bridge which was designed as a part of this project. To make the place more attractive for the kids an internal chute has been designed as an alternative to stairs for kids to get to the ground floor level playrooms.

Forfar ELCC has been built on the site of old Forfar Academy. The scope of works include high quality, flexible and accessible learning and childcare space within the single storey building, as well as outdoor play space with rain garden and a carpark with drop off point for easy access.
