Construction Overview
A composite steel framed construction was used to form this three storey building which is founded upon clay ground using mass concrete pad and strip foundations. Externally, the brick cladding at first floor is supported from a steel structural framing system (SFS) whilst a secondary hot-rolled steel frame supports the metal cladding at the first and second floors. Internally, the non-loadbearing partitions are formed in SFS and are supported from the ground bearing ground floor slab and the first and second floor composite slabs.
