Project Description
Edinburgh Technopole is located in a stunning parkland environment adjacent to the Pentland Hills. It is sympathetically designed to inspire its occupiers whilst being situated at the heart of a well established cluster of world class research organisations forming part of the Edinburgh Science Triangle. The Fleming building consists of a 35,700 sq. ft. flexible office/laboratory building.

Construction Overview
The two and three storey composite steel frame allows all floors to be utilised for either office or laboratory use through innovative use of removable structural panels and flexible service routing both internally and externally and has a screened flexible plant area at roof level. The building cleverly positioned adjacent to the natural tree roundel to maximise the benefits of solar shading and the brick, glazed and timber elevational treatment is positioned to be sympathetic to the natural setting.
