The proposed Galashiels Campus will replace the existing aging building, combining all facilities under one roof, including the adjacent Galashiels swimming pool.

The facility will accommodate around 1000 pupils including ASN provision.

A swimming pool and sports hall facilities will be located to the shared main entrance with extensive external sports facilities including a 2G hockey pitch, 3G rugby and football pitch, grass football pitch, tennis courts and a 100m Running track.

The structure is to comprise of a braced steel frame utilising composite concrete floor decks to offer the open and flexible teaching spaces required.

A large reinforcement concrete basement is provided to house a 6 lane ‘Myrtha’ Swimming Pool and smaller Hydrotherapy Pool.
