Shona is a Director based in the Edinburgh office, having joined Goodson Associates in February 2015.

With experience stretching over 30 years, Shona has a real passion for delivering development masterplans from concept design right through to construction.

Infrastructure design is the key to unlocking much of development and Shona has worked on projects across the residential, commercial, retail, and education sectors.

Shona has a particular interest in the delivery of sustainable drainage solutions linked to development and is keen to encourage the integration of green/blue infrastructure at the early stages of design.

Shona’s role involves supervising and managing multi-disciplinary engineering design teams through the feasibility, costing, tender, and construction stages of infrastructure projects. Shona is also responsible for liaison and communication with the client, the external design team & statutory consultees.

Away from the office, Shona is a dab hand with a wallpaper stripper and continues to cultivate a keen interest in all things horticultural culminating in a bumper summer harvest of tomatoes!
